Fat build-up can cause permanent hole of a liver that could lead to a severe disease.
Research shows that fat-build-up from insensitive diet of a person causes more harm to liver than another harmful substance such as alcohol. The human liver that is situated in the upper abdomen is the largest glandular organ of the body. Its main functions include filtration of the blood, production of blood cells, and synthesis of blood-clotting components.
The liver has many functions; this includes storing minerals and vitamins. It also makes bile (a bitter yellowish, blue and green fluid secreted by hepatocytes from the liver) that is stored in the gall bladder until needed for the digestion of fats.
Its multiple functions are carried out by two types of cells:
- hepatocytes – the one responsible for releasing substances into bile canaliculi and into blood and lymph channels;
Aside from breaking down fats, the liver also plays a significant role in converting glucose (or simply sugar) to glycogen (Glycogen plays an important role in the glucose cycle; is a polysaccharide that is the principal storage form of glucose in animal and human cells.) Liver also produces urea (the main substance of urine), it make a kind of building blocks such as amino acids, and as storage of vitamins and minerals
As shown in some development, the fat-build-up of insensitive diet of a person causes more harm to liver than another harmful substance such as alcohol. Thereby an obese person should seek medical assistance (also in diet management.) to prevent other diseases associated to it. Fat build-up causes liver to have permanent holes leading to a more severe liver related disease.
…excess fat in the liver
A liver, a solid organ located on the right in the upper abdomen plays a major role in metabolism, digestion, detoxification, and elimination of substances from the body. But once abused, it can lead to fatal outcome.
